It is in the menu but for an old card like mine it's greyed out until you add a couple of .dll's from nexusmods to the game folder as it's not officially supported.
Loving this game so far, I'm about 13 hours in, not unlocked the dlc yet but I believe I'm almost there. I've only have a 2060 but I've added frame generation which is allowing 1440p on high settings and 90ish fps. Game looks and feels wonderful.
Yeah it's a real shame that 'early access' is even a concept these days. This game I'm sure will be great having played the demo. But I don't see much replayability given how 'complete' the game is at this stage. Would much rather games are fully developed before any sort of release. I blame steam.
I can get Cyberpunk base game for £20 or spend £30 for the base game + Phantom Liberty.
Is the DLC worth the extra tenner? Or is just the base game plenty? thoughts?
I enjoyed the first one but the game was so short before essentially finishing it. I'll wait for this to drop right down in price again before it's worth it.
Bullfrog - Theme Park / Theme Hospital / Populous etc.
ID Software - Doom, Wolfenstein, Quake
Westwood - C&C, Red Alert
Rockstar - GTA, RDR2
and a shoutout to Chris Sawyer for Rollercoaster Tycoon and Sid Meier for Civilization.
There's a publisher onboard now (Hooded Horse) and I believe later on in development he's had a bit more help from others, but largely this is still Slavic's work/oversight.
Quite enjoyed the race. Obviously all a bit easy for the Red Bulls but there was a good mix of strategy, some good incidents, a challenging track and the best thing is that the overtakes were a lot more authentic than the usual DRS straights. There were many overtakes in lots of different places...
There was no combat in the demo but it is very similar to total war by the looks of it, you can see in the video above the dragging of units just like in total war. The combat won't be as big a focus of the game as Total war though and I believe the battles take place in the town you have built...
Just under 3 weeks before this is released. Really looking forward to this. The demo was thoroughly enjoyable. I don't like that games are released as early access games but for this one I think I'll have to buy it.
There's some new footage in this video showing a bit more what the battles look...
