I would like to turn it on, but when i do I get horrendous V-sync judder. Even forcing on triple buffering doesn't stop the problem. It's a problem with fps, but for other games types I can get away with it being on.

For metro i'd agree, but you don't need anything like a 480 to run BC2 a 5850 is more then enough for that game at that res.

This needs some point of comparison. What are these like compared to stock 480?

Can you not play in windowed mode when using crossfire or is their some other issue's while using windowed mode? I'm asking as I would genuinely like to know why windowed mode is an issue with crossfire.

What game do you play enough at 1900x1200 to warrent having 2 cards anyway? If your going multi-monitor then fine. I'd just keep the one 5870 every thing else is overkill at your resolution.
