I set up my Gateway 2000 4DX2-66P which I haven't used in a while. I joined it to my Windows 2000 Server domain.
It's running Windows 95. It runs well as the original owner upgraded the CPU to an 83 MHz Pentium OverDrive. I'm interested in trying Windows 3.11 though.
Nice! What model is it?
It's slow but not slow enough to be unusable for me. I've always kept it updated so it's running iOS 12.5.7, the last version the phone supports. Of course there's a lot of apps that no longer work and sites that won't load, but I don't use the phone for many tasks. I've always mostly used the...
It's worth selling. They go a reasonable amount considering the low cost of them when they were new.
I have an N54L which I use to store data that's infrequently accessed. It's not often powered on.
I'm still using an iPhone 6. It had a battery replacement in December 2019. Its maximum capacity has been at 73% since last summer. The battery doesn't last long but it doesn't appear to have deteriorated much over the last year.
I'm fond of NEC MultiSync monitors from that era.
I bought a Dell 2007FPb several years ago but had to sell it on as it had image peristence issues. I also noticed that those monitors have gone up in price lately.
Seeing that makes me wish I still had my P182. I sold it in 2019. I hope he can print the rails for you!
Today I booted up a Gateway computer I haven't used in a while. It has Windows 98 SE installed and I briefly played Tyrian 2000, and Jazz Jackrabbit 1 and 2. I also took a backup of the hard...
Are the iLO issues due to NAND failure? Mine developed that failure a few years ago but I found it hasn't affected anything I've used the server for. iLO web UI is a little slow to load, and Intelligent Provisioning doesn't work, but I very rarely used that and you can boot into it from an ISO...
I use "I still don't care about cookies" and Consent-O-Matic.
For anything else I reject all cookies. If the option to reject all isn't available I hit the back button.
I have two Gen8 Microservers running TrueNAS Scale. One is a backup server that's only powered on for replicating data from the main server.
The main server has a couple of small Docker containers running in a Debian VM.
I also have an N54L running Debian which holds data that isn't often...
I had a Corsair HX520 from 2007 until it went bang in 2011. Thankfully it didn't take out anything else. The RMA replacement HX650 is still going strong.
I'm still using an iPhone 6 which will be 10 years old this year. It's definitely in need of replacement.
The battery was replaced in 2018 and maximum capacity is now 73%.
This is one for Veeam rather than Macrium. I know that at work Veeam secondary copy jobs are sent to AWS but I don't know the details of how to set this up.
I believe you can do this using Veeam Backup & Replication Community Edition, although there may be limitations.
I think with Macrium you...
