We got the Sage one when it was on sale earlier in the year. The main reason was we have homemade pizza most weeks. It's been brilliant and I'd have no hesitation recommending it.

Agree with dlockers, it's better than the 8. I picked up on a vegetal note that I found a bit funky. Personal preference, but I'd be spending £65 elsewhere in Islay. PC is £10 less and is my favourite reasonably priced Islay. You're also only £5 from the Laphroaig 10 CS......

Glenallachie have released a peated range of whisky called Meikle Tòir. They're all 5YO and decent percentage. I've gone for a bottle of The Chinquapin one, looks interesting.

Yeah, check for bumps . Although after all those miles they should be pretty good.

I've got the GC set and it transformed the comfort. Before long sim sessions ended in discomfort or even pain, after no issues at all....except my sweaty head.

Lots of good choice at £50ish... GlenAllachie 12, or stretch for the 15, Tobermory 12 is on offer at masterofmalt, Bunnahabhain 12 also on offer, I'm partial to a Benromach a couple at or under £50. Fancy something different these peaty numbers are great: Port Charlotte 10 a smidge over budget...

Been a good whisky month. Went up to Loch Garten over Easter, stopped at the whisky castle and made a trip to GlenAllachie. Picked up: Gordon and Macphail IB of a 10 yo peated Bunny. 13 yo CS GlenAllachie from a Ororoso cask Moray Exclusive Benromach 10yo CS from a sherry cask Then for my bday...

Sounds lovely might get a couple. I've gone for the GlenAllachie 15, should be here in time for little Friday dram.
