On the pixel 2, in settings background settings refer to mobile data if I'm in the same place. Settings, apps and notifications, Facebook, data usage, background data (mobile data)

I assume this is the one for mobile data so will still work in background on WiFi but not on mobile

Those who have pixels and Chromecast have you come across an issue where your pixel can't see the Chromecast till you turn WiFi on and off. Small thread on Reddit about it. But if a pain but once you know the work around it's a bit easier

White is white , against an s8 the pixel is a very dull display and the screen is clear. I turned on saturated just to see if it made a difference. I placed my pixel 2 XL against my wife's s8, not going Todo that to often :) her screen is significantly better. Still love the phone but the screen is poor in comparison to others

It sounds like yours is particularly bad, I'd compare with one in the stores and if worse then you'd be justified for a return

Has anyone found they have accidentally called someone, or typed something on this phone whilst it is in the pocket. This phone seems to be bad at this. I can't work out if I'm accidentally pressing the finger unlock as I put it in my pocket. Im going to reduce the fingers in the detect aspect...
