    Strongest plasterboard fixing?

Don't forget, if it's an external wall (plasterboard --> cavity --> external brick) then you can just drill straight through the cavity and into the external brick. Get a long screw, loosely put a red plug on it, then tap it back to the hole in the brick.

    Quiet 12~14TB HDD?

Ah that's annoying. There's a thing about larger drives clicking every so many seconds, which is apparently normal. I can't remember what it's called, but I'll see if I can find it

Power Tools & General Tools Recommendations & Advice

Cool, thank you, I'll check them out. Power wise, even on my current one I have to be a bit careful. If I let the grass get too long the thing just clogs and can't handle it. Doesn't take much! Have to go super slowly

    Quiet 12~14TB HDD?

I've found the quietest to be the 'white label' WD's. So the basic external Western Digital MyBook drives. Easy to pop open without damaging the enclosure if you want to put it in something.

SSD Prices - Not looking great

I've been looking for a new (used!) mobo for a little Unraid server and it seems there are already fewer SATA ports on boards. Getting one with 6 is almost impossible, 4 is the standard high now.

Any recommendations (or warnings) on battery lawnmowers? Tis the season and my old corded Bosch is finally on its last legs.

Small new build plot/developer went bust

"A company spokesman added that the usual 10-year warranty for new-build homes had been extended to 25 years at the site." At least that's something I guess

spec me screws and wall plugs please

I'm all for the Fischers. I've recommended them in the past to my less DIY competent friends, as you can buy packs of matching screws & plugs, so there's no confusion. Tend to work on all types of wall too.

Top tip - measure how deep you want to go on the drill bit, then wrap a bit of electrical tape on it at that point. Then just drill as far as the tape
