    point of getting the ssd is the lowe access times, for the random read/write a good ssd is an order of mannitude better than a raptor but make sure you don't get one with a jmicron controller also you don't need everything on the ssd, just the OS and program files

    deffinatly go 64 bit, originally with 64 bit windows, there was a shortage of driver, thats sorted now, no dissadvantages to w7 64 bit so long as you have a compatable processor also it will allow you to adrread all your ram whixh the 32 bit version would not
