    Reddit is dying

I have this "delivery note" from July which looks identical. The Reddit user probably just cropped the top half off. Even the weight of the package being "0.000KG" is consistent. A more recent order from November looks like this though.

    Crucial 32gb (2x16gb) cl16 3600 BL2K16G36C16U4B - Single Rank

Not sure what to think about this lol. I just received my kit (ordered from a US competitor since that's the only place I could find reasonably priced 32GB 3600CL16) and was initially disappointed to see CPU-Z and Thaiphoon Burner report it as single rank, but reading the thread (FreeSteam's...

    The possible end of Neogaf?

Hear, hear. I've been browsing and posting on the GAF since about 2011. I pretty much made it part of my daily life, as sad as that may sound. I enjoyed the gaming sub a lot more than the OT sub, although there were a few OT communicates which I liked to follow. I never got involved with the...

Help me Choose a AM4 Motherboard

Out of interest, what RAM are you using and have you successfully got it running at its rated speed or 3000MHz+?

AMD updates List of DDR4 Memory for Ryzen - reliable 3200 performance

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm not sure it'd matter. If it's v5.39 (Hynix dies) then you know AMD have made it officially compatible now, but if it's not v5.39 then it'll be using Samsung dies and probably work fine anyway.

    It's too hot :(

This heat shouldn't be allowed on weekdays. It's actually really depressing being at work.

How does warranty work for an RMA replacement unit?

Specifically with a Corsair PSU. Some people may have seen a thread I posted in this sub a month ago about my PC acting up (not POST'ing). Well, I ended up buying an EVGA Supernova G2 650W for about £90 because why the hell not, but unfortunately it didn't fix my issue. When I received the RMA...

    What dictates your nationality?

If you don't have dual citizenship (which is weird to me if you moved at 15), you're legally Dutch. If you do, you're probably both.

PC issues driving me nuts...tempted to just upgrade everything

Fingers crossed then! And yeah, it's definitely reassuring to know that, if I were to experience future issues, the RMA process is very quick and seamless.

PC issues driving me nuts...tempted to just upgrade everything

So Corsair have dispatched me a new PSU (currently don't know what it will be - hopefully a 650RMx), but I find their RMA process very curious because I asked what they found wrong with my PSU and the support guy said that they don't have repair centres so they just replace customer units as if...

Anyone used a Travel Currency card before?

Yeah, definitely get Revolut. It's like a virtual bank account and you can transfer funds into it by bank transfer, debit/credit card, and Android(/Apple?) Pay. It works a treat and transactions appear immediately. (Just don't use it for hotel authorisations because your money will be blocked...

Travellers rejoice - the Supercard is here.

Yeah, they closed the beta before I went on the States last year and I'd be gone before the new cards were sent out. That's actually when I discovered Revolut and I haven't looked back.

Travellers rejoice - the Supercard is here.

Just in time for my holiday to the States on 27th July! But in all seriousness, I've been using Revolut for the past year or so and find it more useful, plus it does a heck of a lot more than Supercard does.

Anyone else had problems with the Corsair AX's ?

My AX650 has presumably been misbehaving recently. It may actually have always been a bit dodgy and just got progressively worse, but the other day - when I got back from a week on holiday - my relatively stable overclock started failing left, right and centre, and then I started getting issues...

PC issues driving me nuts...tempted to just upgrade everything

Ok sweet. I'll give my OCZ PSU a try (there's always a chance it's not the PSU, even though it sounds highly likely based on the documented issues for the original AX series) and then submit an RMA if it all looks good. Thanks for the insight man :)

PC issues driving me nuts...tempted to just upgrade everything

Interesting. I just ruled it out because, as mentioned, everything powers on. When you were able to power it up, did your PC run fine? My PC was fine for almost 12 hours straight gaming yesterday (all at stock BIOS settings), but this morning when I tried to turn on it wasn't playing ball. And...

PC issues driving me nuts...tempted to just upgrade everything

The problem is that Coffee Lake is [hopefully] just around the corner, so I'd probably be stupid to grab a Kaby Lake CPU right now; but I've been having so many issues with my current setup recently and I've had the parts for four years that I'm close to just throwing in the towel and upgrading...

Should I do BSc or an MSc?

How is "relevant work experience" defined? I have an HND in Computing and have been working as a sysadmin for 4 years. Would I qualify? I actually had no idea this was possible so I'm genuinely interested as a way to make me more employable for higher level positions as I progress my career...

    Christmas presents ideas thread!

I hear you, but my girlfriend basically told me she wanted it without actually saying it. Like seeing it in the wild or in Selfridges or something and going "ooohhh I love that bag!", "I wish I had this bag!!" ...you know, like how girls do when they want something. And it was nuts, but I got a...
