I went from a asus 4870x2 to a msi 560ti 1gig and its a great upgrade. I can now play BF3 maxed out. Skyrim maxed out and with the high res mod. My 4870x2 was a great card but for the latest games I wanted dx11 and to play maxed out with high fps. Asus 560ti top is also a great option.

I had this problem on my GPU I solved it by plugging in the monitor lead in the other port on the back of the gpu.

Im now even more confused about what to get. The Asus 570 gets really great reviews ans seems great value. Its massive though.

Im in the same boat. Im looking to upgrade from my 4870x2tri fan but im over doing it on the research and feel like I change my mind every day. All cards I like seem to be the MSI ones. Reason for this is the OC on them and the sheer look of class. Ive looked at the MSI 6970, MSI 560ti frozer...

Thats really good results. My brother in law plays with a single 5770 with an i7 on ultra settings, not sure what his FPS are but hes bragging to me all the time lol

Just waiting on the game to be delivered. My set up is a Stock i7 2600 with stock 4 gig and a aging asus 4870x2 tri fan. I get 17,7K score on 3d mark Vantage and can max out on COD. Has anyone yet seen or heard what performance a 4870x2 gets? Some guy on utube played on high settings.

Ive just seen a video on BF3 there is a lot of hype around Nvidia cards being the better choice. Ive had problems with my 4870x2 in the past over flickering with BC2. Wonder if Ati cards will do the same with BF3?

I work at comet and we have sold lots of this model in the past. Sound is poor like most samsung tvs. Picture is great but movement is not the greatest by far! Id op for the pana 42" u20 which has a 400hz 1080p great tv and kicks the sammys arse!

Run a tool to see the clocks during a game. I was told it was done because of the power the card uses. if clock speeds run at max in 2d the power you would use is high. The card is not very Green:D

Thats normal for this card. I sent mine back thinking there was a fault but had it sent back with no fault found. The cards clocks run at lower speeds in 2d. Do not worry. How are your games running? All games play maxed out on my Asus tri fan.
