I haven't tried it with Forza Apex but can't you just minimise Steam and load it straight from the desktop. It's what I did for GOW4 or any non steam games.

While I was testing the other day, I did manage to play Gears of Wars 4 a bit (pretty sure that is a Win10 game) but stopped because my PC was not powerful enough to run the game smoothly.

I would be a bit careful using adaptive voltage, from memory if you manually set it to 1.25v maximum, the CPU will go and fetch a bit more in my case 1.36v during heavy stress testing.

Hi, I recently purchased an i7 4770K and manage to get it to overclock it to 4.6Ghz at 1.25v by manually setting the voltage. Would it be better if I set it to adaptive voltage and cap it at 1.25v? So at least when the PC is idling it doesn't need to be constantly running 1.25v?
