Software to connect to NFS share?

Which disto? Unfortunately we are developing a package that will be deployed on customers' systems, so the answer is going to be "the one they use". I think requiring a Samba share is the sensible answer, with MS Services for Unix an alternative. If the answer to the original question is...

Software to connect to NFS share?

I need to include the ability to connect to a Linux NFS share in a Windows program. Does anyone know of any open source software to do this? MS provide a package to install full Linux compatibility on a Windows system, but that is not what I want, just light weight file access.

    PC-Chips M861G wrong CPU speed

I did have the 050830S BIOS. It is all over now, RMA time. The original reason for replacing the BIOS was because there were problems with the memory that came with it, and that was what PC-Chips suggested. I have flashed 050830S again and it is all wrapped up and in a box. Thanks for your...

    PC-Chips M861G wrong CPU speed

Thanks for your response, Melchy. I thought that the multiplier was set within the CPU and couldn't be changed? There are no BIOS settings for multiplier or hypertransport (what is hypertransport? I understand fsb and multiplier).

    PC-Chips M861G wrong CPU speed

Unfortunately the only fsb settings are to overclock the 200 up to 231. It doesn't have the option to change to 800.

    Copying one hd to another?

I have used PowerQuest Disk Image successfully. I have also tried to use Partition Magic and failed. (It copied the partition, but it was not bootable.)

Can a PSU be installed either way up???

I think the answer is that it does matter, because the mounting screws are not symetrical. Hopefully they are positioned such that the side fan will be towards the main part of the case, not the wall.

    PC-Chips M861G wrong CPU speed

Bought a bundle - PC-Chips M861G, Athlon 3700, 2x1GB. The RAM failed in Memtest, so PC-Chips said "flash the BIOS to the latest". Did that, and the Athlon 3700 (800 fsb -> 2400 MHz) turned into an Engineering Sample (200 fsb -> 800 MHz). It is marked ADA3700 AEP5AR, which is correct. Help...

One stick good - two sticks bad - HELP

The M861G is socket 754 (= no dual channel). I tried slacking timings from CAS 2.5 to CAS 3 - the only adjustment available - no better. I have read elsewhere that NCP RAM is no good, "barely manages CAS 3". I still don't understand how one memory stick can work fine, but two of the same...

    Ctrl+alt+del wont work?

Ctrl-Alt-Del is a special combination handled by the keyboard itself. If other combinations work it could be a hardware fault on the keyboard. (Software engineer blames the hardware ...)

Ivers Guide to keeping your system secure and safe.

A fairly good general rule is: If you are just minding your own business at the PC and the firewall pops up with "Do you want to allow program X to access the Internet?" the answer is nearly always "No". However, I keep getting svchost.exe trying to access. This looks as if it is part of...
