Do you have it hooked up to an external monitor?

Have the 13" air and use it as my main machine. Do the occasional photoshop and web work. Have never had any issues with speed and capability of the machine. I do sometimes miss a bigger screen though but will be hooking it up to an external monitor very soon.

i think it depends if your current MBP has a SSD or not. because thats where the speed bottleneck would be.

Depends on how much time you're willing to invest in it. parts might just come up on ebay which you might be able to purchase cheaply. But again have to wait till one comes up. Check out prices to see how much they're going for as it is and see if you're better off just selling it :)

The motherboard/logic board is probably the most expensive part. you'll just have to keep an eye out on ebay for a replacement. Is there maybe a serial number at the bottom which you can google?
