NTFS is a microsoft file system. It will not work internally or externally with a PS3.
The PS3 has a proprietary internal HDD file system and supports FAT32 external drives and Flash drives.
Need a few expert opinions here.
Just got a new Sata 3.0 drive today and hooked it up to my sata 2.0 (I think) motherboard. Anyway problem is it's not being recognised in the bios at all. Upon booting the loading screen lasts for a couple of minutes before the BIOS finally loads and no SATA...
The 4850 is a fantastic card.I have one and it deals fine with any game I have.
The only games i couldn't run all the eye candy in were Crysis (Obviously) and FSX.
It'll chew up COD4 and spit it out.
At that Res though you won't be able to run at all high settings for some of the newer releases.
First of all a 4890 is better than a 5770.Not by much but it is better.
If I were you I'd go crossfire 4890s.Why pay £200+ for a 5850 when a second 4890 for £109 will give you better performance?DX11 is useless I feel as most of it is thrown in at the last second just to say that particular...
Just in case you didn't know 2x 7950GTs will be far inferior to your 4870.But if it's the only thing in budget well I suppose you have no choice.
The second 7950 will make a nice improvement on one.So you may as well go for it since there's no alternative due to budget constraints.
The only reason to upgrade your system is if it's not doing its job satisfactorily.
The 8800GTX is an aging card though so a new GPU and you'll be in good shape for the next while. No reason you can't get another year or so out of the rest of your system.
I don't think anything within your budget is a worthy upgrade.I'd stick with it until you either have a bigger budget or the prices of 5850/470 (at the very least) come down.
This isn't ownage at all.
Considering the price difference between the two ATI owns.
ATI were first to the party and despite having months to repsond Nvidia didn't respond by blowing ATI out of the water.
Any company could make a great card if they disregard heat and power consumption.
A 5850 is the better card.
You must decide if you think it's worth the extra money.Keep in mind that there is often quite some distance between the 768mb and 1gb 460s.
At 1080p the 5770 might struggle but it really depends on what the "odd game" is.
This is madness in my opinion. It's unlikely there'll be any increase in performance and you'll be spending more money on a less powerful setup.
The 480s do seem to scale very well though.
If you're worried about 5850 performance then get yourself the GTX 480 you say you have the money.
You have the money and you seem to want the best then get it.
