X570 Aorus Pro reverted back to F3 Bios

Well it's good you managed to do it but I'm not aware of that method to flash it confidently :(

X570 Aorus Pro reverted back to F3 Bios

What in Windows tells you that? In Gigabyte SIV it tells me it's F3 and so does Bios but didn't see anything there teling me what chip. The first time I loaded it up after this issues it had to optimise all fans again.

X570 Aorus Pro reverted back to F3 Bios

After reading that thread it was slightly different. It was more to do with the bios not saving an xmp but was still worth reading. This seems exactly like I have. I can't tell what BIOS chip is running, unless it says somewhere inside it but I'm afraid to back in there. The board was...

X570 Aorus Pro reverted back to F3 Bios

There's a clear cmos jumper, that's about it. The manual has the location for B_BIOS and M_BIOS but I can't see anything specific to see which one is active. The closest thing I have is the CPU/DRAM/VGA/BOOT (Status LEDs) but now that it has done whatever and I'm in the system they're not active.

X570 Aorus Pro reverted back to F3 Bios

So I've been running on F11 for a while now and last night I shut down as usual and this evening it took a while to get into Windows. Once in I check to see if everything was set up to 3600MHz and it wasn't so I restarted and selected the profile I created. Again start up took a while and...

Purchased RAM not stable on XMP Profile

I'll have to have a look when I next restart but I transfered everything I could from the calculator. If the auto was in the min and max limit I just left it. System hasn't crashed since I entered the timings. Patriot got back to me with a nice scripted response... So in short their answer...

Purchased RAM not stable on XMP Profile

The only issue with that I see is that the XMP is designed to work with 2x8GBs and I'm running 4x8GBs. The Ryzen memory calculator asks you how many Modules you have before importing the information from the XMP and I think that's the cause of the issue. I did months of research before...

Purchased RAM not stable on XMP Profile

Should be visable now. I've changed pretty much everything on there that had comparitive value, changed some other voltages too.

Purchased RAM not stable on XMP Profile

These are what I've entered via the safe timings and was just screwing around on GTA Online and the game crashed, doesn't prove anything lol but system seems stable. Will try memtest86 when I find a usb. Although not know that much about specific timings I don't know how bad these are, let...

Purchased RAM not stable on XMP Profile

Back home and searched the Memory settings and changed the Gear Down Mode from auto to on, XMP enabled and manually entered the Voltage at 1.35 and eventually got another Blue Screen. Think it's mainly due to have all the DIMM slots populated as the XMP is designed to run with just two slots at...

Purchased RAM not stable on XMP Profile

The motherboard supports Extreme Memory Profile, saw no option for Direct Over Clock Profile. Essentially with the Ram running at stock 2133MHz speeds on 1.2V there was no issue and system was stable. I’m going to play around with the Ryzen memory calculator when I get back home. Could also...

Purchased RAM not stable on XMP Profile

It's been over 10 years since I purchased a whole build for myself and never have I received so many different bluescreens with various errors over the last few hours. I have as follows... PATRIOT VIPER STEEL 32GB (4x8GB)...

    Problems with recently purchased DirectCU2

Just got back from work and I'm experiencing some sort of blur on screen programs, such as firefox and massive liquidation tahat changes over my contact list in msn when it's active or if I hover over it when it's in the background, but saying this the taskbar is fine. in AMD Vision the...

4850's Crossfire issues on Rampage Forumla

Been struggling with this for a few day now and I keep reading new things to do but I'm now hitting a wall. Both cards 100% work and have been in crossfire previously when I had the system on Vista but can't remember if it was this board or another. I've managed to get both cards appearing...

    History Lesson (3500+ Newcastle)

CPU - AMD Athlon 64 3500+ (Newcastle) Mobo - Gigabyte K8NXP-SLI RAM - 1GB Kingston 400MHz GPU - Gigabyte GV-3D1 Dual GeForce 6600GT I'm playing about with this old system I've not used for a while and never got round to overclocking. I've done a little research and apparently these were...

    Upgrades for Black Macbook (compatibility)

pfft... got no idea anymore, never know where I am when upgrading macs and what OSX can be installed on. Pretty much a confirmed purchase is the Corsair 2GB. So all in all what sort of read speeds would I been expected to get from an SSD? Might have got confused somewhere but even the...

    Upgrades for Black Macbook (compatibility)

Going to be getting my bonus from work soon and need to upgrade this mac as other computers have been a priority. Picked this up after christmas 2008 so this the SATA 150 160GB HDD and 2x 512mb 667MHz ram modules. RAM: I believe I can go up to 3GB but will not get the performance I want so...
