I really like that wooden control deck. I think I saw the build thread on that one. Got me thinking where exactly in our house I'd put something like it.
My best to date 55,350
Never really played this much in the arcade but played quite a bit on my cousins Atari 800XL, hopefully some of that skill is transferable.
The one major difference for me is the flap is far less effective in the arcade version so you have to jab it that much faster.
Had a few tries.

3.5% this year. Is pretty pants but the company has recently taken on some contracts with negative margin as a strategic thing. Not quite sure how losing money is a good business strategy. The other product and material lines though have good margins.
The shop floor turned down a 2% raise this...
Had a problem with revanced. Videos wouldn't load. Had to do a fair bit of fiddling but did eventually get it back up and running. Trouble is I'm not sure exactly what I did, although I did delete and reinstall YT a few times. I've a feeling I downloaded a patched YT version.
Also used grayjay...
Valorant (must be one of the oldest players on there) and Lethal Company.
Plus the bi-weekly retro arcade high score game on MAME. This time it is Moon Cresta which I have very fond memories of playing in the early 80s.
As an aside. I found a few Spanish bootleg versions of Moon Cresta. Not only does it have much faster shooting (like really fast) but the enemies also drop occasional bullets at you. It is quite manic but makes the game too quick in my opinion. Levels are cleared in a few seconds.
New high score 71,900.
Think I went around 5, maybe 6 times. I didn't lose a life until the 1st missile level on the 5th rotation. Fell apart very quickly after that.
And confirmed extra is at 30,000
Proper try with arcade stick 22,330 completed twice. Lost my 1 ship midway through the second rotation. Those round things get super fast on the third round and they got both my 2 and 3 ships.
I'm sure I remember at some point you get a free go, or someway to recover your ship, maybe it was a...
I loved Moon Cresta in the arcade. I used to play it in Swansea Leisure Centre when we went swimming there. So many places had little arcades in those days.
I had the Grandstand Astro Wars game which was sort of similar and had the same tune.
Strangely the C64 version might have passed me by...
New high score 672,530 started at level 5. Cleared the seemingly endless endor speeder bike level and almost made it to the death star.
Level 3 high 343,660. I can clear the speeder bike with all lives intact but the ATST is a bugger for control in and around the logs.
I did a better job on...
I'd like to select Williams Joust (Green label) as my missing game selection.
Mostly played this on Atari 8 bit but did play the arcade game a few times and a bit on emulation.
I'm away for a week but tried playing using mame on my phone Using the screen as input and it is near impossible. I was able to get to the end of the death star run from level 1 but couldn't clear the endor segment from level 3.
By the way in case you guys didn't know the game rewards the...
I first saw Empire in Weymouth pier arcade whilst we were on a caravanning holiday, it was a sit down version and sat right next to another standard Star Wars sit-down machine. I'd never heard of it before so was very keen on playing it. For me it's ok but is let down, in my opinion by the...
