    Undervolting i9 14900k Asus rog strix z790-f WiFi 2

Sorry forgot to reply. Not sure if those are recent posts/ videos but quite a few AIOs surpass the DH-15 especially at the power the i9s use. Not too up to date with AIOs but ideally a 360/420mm. Artic Freezer III is good last I checked. You will need to check what your case can fit.

    Passive CPU cooling

If you are set on the fanless route, a Streamcom FC8 or similar case would be a decent option. It uses the aluminium case as a giant heatsink. The Pico-psu is also fanless, only downside is you will need an external power brick. Used one myself with a i5-6500 (65W) for Plex and Citrix. Never...

    14th Gen "Raptor Lake Refresh"

Tekken 8 has a free demo on Steam for those that want to test stability issues. Couldn't replicate the issue but since it's locked at 60 fps the CPU ended up using more power than the 4090 which was interesting to see, (120W vs 90)

ITX case that can take a 4 slot GPU

It wont fit in the meshlicious their product page is wrong, 334mm max. 346mm is misleading as it counts the overhang of the pcie bracket.

games crashing when xmp is on

Do you have the DIMMs in the correct slots ? The Asus boards recommend A2/B2 for 2 stick setups. Also worth trying a higher LLC level.

whats a good cooling pad for under a gaming laptop please?

IETS GT600 is the best for thermals if you have bottom intake fans. Foam pads provide an airtight seal. About 15-17 degree reduction at max fan speed for me. Not that much quieter though.

    14th Gen "Raptor Lake Refresh"

That’s how auto looks on my white apex. Not sure if/why it’s different on the encore. Intel XTU on desktop to change/ disable the temperature thresholds. What exactly are you trying to achieve with the OC ? Disabling cores/ HT seems like a waste IMO. 14700K or 7800X3D would make more sense in...

    14th Gen "Raptor Lake Refresh"

What board do you have? I’m sure you can get better results with ai oc. Not sure whats special about that bundle, TVB +2 is stock on asus boards and e-cores are 4.5ghz at stock. 5.9 all core is also stock on the p-cores with the KS.

    Alienware announces the AW2725DF and AW3225QF (worlds first 4k 240hz and worlds first 1440p 360hz QD-OLED monitors - launches January 2024)

Unlikely, the coating they put on top is plastic. How deep is it ? Microscratches will be inevitable over time so wouldn’t worry too much.

    Undervolting i9 14900k Asus rog strix z790-f WiFi 2

Just realised you're using a DH15, even with 3k RPM fans cooling will still be an issue. Problem with these CPU's is the TIM between the die and IHS. Delid and relid with liquid metal can reduce temperatures around 20 degrees, voids warranty though. If you're set on sticking with the DH15, you...

    Undervolting i9 14900k Asus rog strix z790-f WiFi 2

Your board should have AI OC. Just turn that on and xmp. Shouldn’t need to tweak anything else. It gives you a cooler score too so will adjust accordingly.

Best air cooled ITX case for a 4070?

Pick cases you like the look of and work from there imo. 4070 has a 200W TDP so won't be too difficult to cool. NR200 Dan A4 H20 FormdT1 Above are examples with decent cooling. edit: 2000D is a decent case too if that's what you like.

Any custom water block builders nowadays?

Billetlabs are a UK company. Probably expensive but they do commissions etc.

Quiet and Cool, which ITX is it in 2024?

If you want a quiet build make sure you pick the board carefully. A lot of them have fans for the VRM and they can be quite audible at ~6000rpm. Some let you control the fanspeed however.

Odd situation with online retailer (John Lewis)

Keep an eye on your account. Currys had a pricing error like this, they instead made another charge for the extra amount weeks later without telling you. edit: was Carphone Warehouse not Currys.

    GeForce RTX™ 4090 SUPRIM LIQUID X 24G

Yeah something definitely wrong with the pump/ contact with the die then.

    GeForce RTX™ 4090 SUPRIM LIQUID X 24G

80+ at 450W on an AIO is also concerning. What RPM are your radiator fans at ? MSI have warranty stickers which void warranty in the UK so really no point doing it yourself.
