RAM Query - BSODs Windows 10

Yeah, I didn't really think about this beforehand but I've been reading that a lot lately.

RAM Query - BSODs Windows 10

Ok, looks like there are definitely some differences between the two modules. I guess the sensible thing to do is to remove one and see if the crashes persist. Looks like one of the sticks is slower than advertised?

RAM Query - BSODs Windows 10

They were bought as a kit. I know that the dram manufacturer can vary, but the part numbers are the same. I would have expected the dram manufacturer to be the same when buying as a kit tbh... I've had these two sticks for about two years I think.

RAM Query - BSODs Windows 10

So I've recently upgraded my PC with new Motherboard (ASUS ROG Strix B450i with latest bios), CPU (Ryzen 5 3600) and Graphics Card (AMD RX590). I recently had the graphics card in my "old" PC and although I had some teething problems with stability, I got it working nicely eventually. However...

    Battlefield 6

Bad Company 2, BF3 and BF1 are my favourites. I still play BF1 a lot, and BF3 from time to time. Really disappointed with BFV though, lot of ttk issues, and the maps are just a bit less memorable than previous games in the series.

    Games Crashing - AMD RX590

Thanks! I did have a look at the WATTMAN stuff, but I was scared of bricking the card. In the end, I actually changed my power settings and turned "Link State Power Management" off. Turns out since the fresh install of Windows my power settings were defaulted to balanced. Now, I'm not certain...

    Games Crashing - AMD RX590

Ok I'll try that. Tbh I'm a bit out of the loop with all this stuff, and it was always Furmark back in the day... Regarding the point of uninstall the display drivers, yep, I used DDU (booted in Safe Mode etc) and still no luck. Having said all that, I've just played about 3 hrs of BF1 and...

    Games Crashing - AMD RX590

Hey Guys, I've recently upgraded to an AMD RX590 from an RX480. Not a massive upgrade, but I got a good deal - it's a brand new card. However, I'm having a big problem with BSODs and applications crashing to desktop. The BSOD messages seem to vary, the last one was irql_not_less_or_equal - see...

    Show Us Your Motors!

So after 4 and a half years I decided to sell my 350z and get back in a BMW. Picked this lovely low mileage (55k) 130i this week.

Yeah, not ideal conditions. The track was free of ice at least, but that didn't stop some guy locking up in his S3 and hitting the wall... I'm amazed at the safety in cars these days - both guys got out completely unscathed.

There was sun, but no heat coming from it... track was a bit sketchy to say the least!

*** The Car Cleaning Thread ***

I love the E87 130i, I was so close to getting one after having owned a 120 for years. Ended up getting a 350z in the end as I wanted something a bit different...

    Who owns a 350z/370z?

I've had Toyo Proxes, Bridgestone Potenzas and Continental Contisport 5s so far. The Proxes were fantastic in the dry, but had a relatively short life span compared to the Contis and Potenzas, and weren't great in the wet. All three are perfectly capable tyres, but I do fancy MPSS this time...

    Who owns a 350z/370z?

Just ordered the arm and the cone - thanks again for the heads up! I'll be needing some new rear tyres soon as well, the joys.

    Who owns a 350z/370z?

Thanks for the advice! I've heard of zmanalex, though I didn't realise his prices were that good - I will definitely do that! I don't really have the space to work under the car where I live now, so I will probably take it to my local - also in my experience, everything has been bolted on my...

    Who owns a 350z/370z?

Any fellow 350 owners had to replace their "banana" compression arms, due to front-end knocking? I replaced the NS side last year with a genuine arm at £250, and almost the same in labour. I need to do the same again for the OS, but I am just wondering, is there a big difference between the OE...

    Alloy wheel protectors

I had alloy gators on my 350z when I bought the car. I removed them because they looked lame and I wanted the wheels restored. When I removed them I found that they'd caused a lot of corrosion due to the build up of crud behind them. Maybe they hadn't been installed correctly, or they were...
