Can these phones multitask?

I have a sony Ericsson arc S and the hands free earphones I got with them have gone dodgy. I tried using some others I had with a different phone but they are really quiet. Do I need to buy official ones? They seem expensive for what they are. Thanks

one thing thats annoyed me with the arc s so far is that you cant turn auto-brightness off so you find the screen rapidly changing brightness levels at times

i got an arc s earlier great device but i notced there is a big spot of dust blocked inside the actual camera lense! it shoes up in some pics in bright light. this is why i hate sony ericsson had nothing but probs before! should i take it back?
