yeah ive lowered the dram so it never goes above 800 mhz but dont seem to work but i got some OCZ reaper 8500 on order so will report back

upgraded from E2180 on Gigabyte N650sli DS4L to E6300 45nm and a Asus P5QL-E what a pig these new bios,s are for overclocking... cant just up the volts and the FSB :mad: why did they have to make the options so complicated i had the 2180 at 3.9ghz, cant get the E6300 past 3.6Ghz...

2 Gig kits, whats the best for overclocking..... if u can post links i would be really grateful

Hi ive just ordered a E6300 45nm 2.8ghz chip..... Now my prob is will it be compatible with my gigabyte N650sli-DS4L motherboard (latest bios)..... ive been reading the website and it says 65-90nm chips, but other forums some say the 45nm duals are ok but not quads... does any1 know...

i wanted the E6300 for upgrade then spotted this thread for the E6500K so went hunting... Cant find em for sale anywhere DAMNIT!!!!

was looking at upgrading my cpu to the new E6300 45nm 2.8ghz then while looking at other threads spotted the E6500K with unlocked multiplier on sale in china some are shipped as a bundle with a biostar motherboard or maybe the chip with a different motherboard. Is the bundle deal anygood? If so...

Some of the old athlons overclock really well and seeing as you dont play high end games i would get the cooler as suggested above and overclock it. Also if its a 6600 you have got download riva tuner and see if u can squeeze some juice out of it. You may not need to spend anymore money. As...
