the faster it is spinning the more it will be able to resist changes in pitch, also the more mass it has, the more it will be able to resist change in pitch.
Basically depends what you are using it for, if it is just for something small it probably wont matter because at 7200rpm it will...
well if you put more mass onto the wire it will obviously not be able to reach the same amplitude, so you will effectivly be streching the wave out, ie creating a longer wavelength...does that make sense?
