I bought a sandisk extreme when the price took a tumble because it worked out that the software was costing about £2 ish when compared to a Ultra II SD card. The software is cool but really it is much of a muchness, there are loads of tools to do this and some are free.

    The Police and Photographers

Hi there, I lecture in forensics at a college. I do the forensic IT and Chemistry. As far as I am aware if the camera card is inserted into a PC then a log / data marker should get added to the card unless the PC used is set so as not to write to the card in any way. If the card was...

    D50 Questions

Had my D50 for about a week so just getting to know it but I have a couple of questions: 1. The autofocus brackets when lit (active) have a thin line that runs to the edge of the viewfinder, is this normal or a fault :(. 2. It is often quoted that D-SLR have a focal range of about 1.5 x...

    Range

Hi there, I Have a D50 and have the AF-S 55-200 mm DX lens. Nikon say that the digital cams effectively increase the 35 mm focal range by a factor of 1.5x so a normal 200mm would be approximately 300mm on the digital body. Does that go for the DX lenses ? Do they increase the focal range by...
