Hi all I've just ordered an ASUS x470-f for a Ryzen 3600 based upgrade. Does anyone know if the board has the AM3 CPU cooler mounting holes? I know the x370-f did and I'd like to carry on using my megahalems if I can, totally decent cooler but no AM4 support. Many thanks.

Thanks linktoinsanity, power cycling it fixed it and I've got back into windows. I'd forgotten that you're supposed to leave the sata cable disconnected to do that.

I didn't get a chance to try it yesterday but suffice to say it's now been more that 30 minutes. It still wasn't detected. I've got it in the expansion bay in my laptop right now to see if having it attached to power for 30 minutes or so will coax it back to life as I've seen suggested.
