That's a good point, however, any quantities over 10 are simply shown as 10+. Regardless of that, these items have not gone out of stock, they have reverted back to the original price having sold through whatever quota Valkia had in mind & as such I don't think the stock counter would have...

I got one of those Npower meters a couple of weeks back. Surprisingly nice unit for a freebie! I'm no electrical expert, but I don't think it will give a reading when attached to a regular power lead as you it will pick up the flow from both the live & neutral wires and they will effectively...
I seem to remember John Carmack saying a few months ago that he see's sparse voxel octrees as the future. If he's right (and there's a pretty strong chance that he is!) then I imagine this tech is a good indication of what we can expect a few years from now?

I initially got the SSoD on my 5770 running at stock speeds & voltage, but I can't recall it happening since installing the 9.12 drivers. I do however get random CTD's in some games which I'm pretty sure are graphics driver related. I'm hoping the 10.1 drivers will sort this out.
Judging by reviews, the Vapor-X version of the 5750 runs a few decibels quieter than the regular version, so I imagine that the Vapor-X 5770 due in stock tomorrow will be an excellent and quiet card with performance not too far off the 4890.
Apart from the already mentioned point that GPU's are highly specialised, highly parallel number crunching processors, whereas CPU's are general all-round very versatile 'jack of all trades' processors, there's another consideration in scaling a GPU to I7 speeds: heat.
