I have an o2 dongle from work. If I bought a cheap smart phone I guess I could use the sim in there and thether or just use the phone to check emails etc without booting the laptop on. If I am in an area with 3g could I also use it to make phone calls to normal phones via something like...

meh. Loved BF2 but never really liked MOH or BC2 all that much. Not really feeling this atm, it does not feel like a sequel to BF2 at all :( I will of course buy the full game and hope for the best.

Rubbish! People like bigger numbers if the intel laptop had 3gb ram and a 500gb hd but the AMD had 4gb and a 1000gb hd most of the time they will go for the one that has bigger numbers.

I don't think special forces (the expansion) was given away for free, only the map packs.

I bought a PS3 for Killzone 2. How disappointed was I when I found out it was completely meh. Borrowed MGS4 but that bored the crap out of me. Bought GTA4 a year after release and it was far superior on PC but I was quickly bored with that too so I doubt I will find RDR that much better. GT5...

How does this compare to a 480gtx?

I honestly feel like I am wasting my life whenever I play single player games. That might seem dramatic but it is genuinely how I feel. Playing multiplayer games locally or online with my friends is the only gaming I do these days.

Good luck everybody! :) My brother recently lost his job and is currently having no luck at finding another one. My only advice would be to try and keep good routines and make the most of any free time!
