I dont think 500w is enough for a overclocked i5 and 2 HD5770's. It will boot yes but I think you'll have problems when gaming, Go for a 650w Corsair if you can.

Depends what it is, If its dairy products then 2 days tops, anything else ~a week.

I use a p45 board with a old oc'd c2d and it runs any game i throw at it on max.

Megahalems with a couple of apaches would probably bring your load temps down to about 60c so id say it was worth it, is the chip lapped?
