    Asus SmartDoctor limits

So I run asus smart doctor to change the voltage and Afterburner to change the clocks, won't they conflict with each other? I'd like to use afterburner on its own but it's not able to control the voltage on my card.

    Asus SmartDoctor limits

My Asus 5850 DirectCU arrived today and i'm chuffed to say the least, even at stock clocks, it's miles better than my 4890, but anywho - I want to OC it but smartdoctor is limiting me to 900mhz core, is there any way to increase the core limit? I've easily obtained 900mhz and 5000mhz memory...

    X1950pro + 24" monitor = slide show???

For the desktop the X1950 is more than enough really, but for gaming at that resolution, you'll have to run most games on low unless they're old ones of course like Half Life 1 and such. I had to use a temporary card (8400GS) a few weeks ago and it was snappy for Windows 7's aero and such but...

IN STOCK NOW ZOTAC 470 & 480 GRAPHICS CARDS

So for example, you'd buy a GTX470 over a 5870 even though the 5870 not only performs quite a bit better, it runs cooler, quieter and uses less power and all for the exact same price as a GTX470? I don't get brand loyalty...

    AMD Phenom II X6 1055T & 1090T Reviews

The X6 came out as I expected it really, it's not uber but still a very powerful CPU that brings 6 core CPU's to the masses. Intel will probably start pumping out 6 core cpu's to compete with it now, or at least lower the price of their current ones.

What can a volt modded 5830 do?

Wow that's impressive... and here I thought 5830's were just bad chips that couldn't make it to 5850 levels. :p

    4850/4870 xfire

If you're still looking for a 4870, ocuk is selling one in their clearance here, haven't watched 4870 prices for ages so dunno if that price is good or not lol. http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=BG-392-AS&groupid=595&catid=683&subcat=

    Whats slowing me down?

I think fraps drops the FPS down to the speed it is recording at, you can change the FPS in the movie section.

Roughly, is this Power Supply enough?

Thanks, I guess i'll just have to see how it goes - if I get the same problems I'll probably try a PSU upgrade anyway as I'm planning on cross-firing in the future. :p

Roughly, is this Power Supply enough?

Ah, thanks, the main reason I'm asking is because I always seem to have bad luck with my PC crashing for no real reason and such, I don't have that 5850 yet, but with my current card (4890 stock), I seem to get random crashing in certain games like Eve Online. I thought it was a bad oc at...

    Asus GPU Warranty service questions

Hi, does anyone know if the Asus GPU warranty covers after-market cooling and OC'ing? I'm thinking about buying an Asus 5850 DirectCU from ocuk and I want to try and OC it to 5870 levels and beyond, I'm assuming the warranty covers OC'ing due to the voltage tweak being advertised?
