Grim Fandango!

Happened again and just have the Stop Error code. There was no .sys location thing or anything, just the stop error. How do i find out using that what the problem is?

I installed Windows 7 professional last week. After installing my games ect, i was playing a youtube video and i got the blue screen saying my pc had been shut down to prevent damage. then all the dump memory stuff at the bottom. I turned off and turned back on. I uninstalled all recent...

Happened to me a while ago. A black screen with the mouse and an error code. Also from the computer being turned off during an installation. Repair didnt work..in the end I just reinstalled. Hope you backed everything up!

Startech offer one for £20 with One Sata2 port and a Esata port...Would this be fine with just one single 250 gb drive? or would it see big performance hit? Cash is runnign low at the moment so the cheaper the better :)

How do you guys rate the Cheaper Controller sata cards from other sites?...seem to vary in price a lot. :confused:

My Matx Board has two sata ports which are in use. How could I add an extra one for another Sata Hdd drive? Im looking at fitting a 250gb drive. Hopefully it is a cheap option :) Thanks!

Damn it! Ah well...Windows 7 student deal doesn't look so bad... especially with people saying you can get it for fresh installs. Just annoyed I have to spend £30 :(

Around 3 months back :rolleyes: I Know..I should have messaged them in that time but after reading about it I just thought I would wait until it comes out. I spent most of my time trying to get my GPU sent back as they put the wrong one in the machine. :(

Well this is great...I sent them a message and they refuse to give me the upgrade as I left it too late after my order. I was a bit of a noob with it but I had NO idea how it was going to work so I just waited. I read up about it and some people said they just send it to you after the release...

90 degrees wont work either...And yeh I suppose a Mobo upgrade is in order.. :) Any ideas on a good AM3 mobo..for overclocking...wont require sli/crossfire. looking at about £100 but cheaper would be nice Thanks guys.

I have a Matx mobo with 2 sata ports...both which are next to the pcie slot. This seems to make fitting the GPU very difficult...any ideas? Looks like i need a new mobo? No extra sata ports and only one pcie, any help would be great!

I bought a pre built rig with vista HP + W7 upgrade voucher from OcUK. Was just wondering if anyone has got there "offer material" with their machine? Don't know if I should get onto them about it as I didn't get anything about it :s Thanks.
