thanks to everyone for your advice. i think i will go for the i3 6100 now as i don't want to wait for kaby lake. once kaby lake comes out ill have more cash next year so i could always sell my i3 and put the money towards a 7th gen i5 next year, hopefully it will still be socket 1151.

best free software for hard drive cloning? im going from a HDD to SSD and want to clone it to the SSD. ive already put the SSD (target) drive in to my laptop which is running windows and have got a usb cable connecting my HDD (source drive) thanks.

good to see that this gen of graphics cards still run as well on pci express 2 as they do on the new pci express 3.0 boards. wont need to rush out for a pci express 3.0 motherboard until maybe the next gen of cards come out next year.

i got this too. tried all sorts but in the end had to delete and reinstall the game. :mad: now its reinstalled though its working fine with this new beta driver.

im getting constant stuttering with an i7 2600k and single gtx 580. 1920x1080 everything on max with msaa off and the other aa on high. (getting really good frame rate arround 65fps) this has been reported though and apparently turning hyperthreating off works or rolling back to nvidia...
