thanks for the response Mikey. I think that I am going to opt for the GS60 and see if they will do a 16gb ram upgrade, as I require the laptop asap to revise for my Finals. As much as I like the idea for the extra real estate of the bigger model, I should stick to why I actually need it :).

That did confuse me when I looked at the weights :) , im assuming that it would get moderately better battery life also.
