According to pasty's chart, a few percent,. bar Prey, where E6600 gets an anomalous boost @ 3,6GHz and e8500 stays in line. And in my case, maybe a Q9550 or E8500 would be a waste of money when compared to the e4300 @ 3GHz.

Found out that a beta bios on my mobo allows it to run q9550 without problems. Any more thoughts on Dual vs Quad in gaming? :)

My mobo is Abit IP35-E. Thanks for your input BBA, I'm now considering a Q9550, as new stuff excites me and quad is new for me. :) Hope it'll bring me more on par with the HD5850. Link, any insight on the "quads+gaming" dilemma? :)
