    What watch do you wear?

I got him a watch 5 years ago which he loves. I know what he likes and what he doesn't. The problem is the gold part... not many watches coming out in gold or gold plated.

    What watch do you wear?

Don't really want to give second hand tbh. I know automatic are more expensive as well, so I'm even looking at Quartz options. Was thinking something like Citizen, Tissot or Seiko, but not sure what else I should be looking at.

    Spec me a new PC

Thanks again, Unfortunately the CPU cooler is not an option as it's way to bulky which ended up bending the motherboard in long time and as you said I have no mounts. Question: Can I use the AMD cooler that comes with the Ryzen? Or is it better to get an aftermarket? (I guess for overclocking...

    Spec me a new PC

thanks for that, will keep using the 5870 then, no need to get rid of it. Regarding the CPU, which Ryzen would you suggest? Is the 1700 enough or better to go for the 1700X or the 1800X? Also, what motherboard would be good if I may want to overclock in the future?

    Spec me a new PC

I only asked because the 5870 is 7 years old and I thought new tech would be better. I had bought it for gaming initially, but don't game anymore. Re: CPU need to read up a bit on it as I said I'm completely out of touch with current tech.

    Spec me a new PC

Regarding CPU I think I would prefer Intel. Re: videocard, so the onboard of lets say an i7 7700K is worse than the Radeon 5870?

HDD + RAM for old PC

But what if I want 12GB minimum? Is it good to go with 3x4GB triple channel? Or better to go with 2x 8GB dual channel RAM for example? At the moment I have 3x2GB triple channel. The board has 6 RAM slots. Edit - nvm, forgot that 1366 boards don't officially support 8GB, so I might go with...

HDD + RAM for old PC

Hi, My home PC is a bit old (the one in my sig) but is still working fine for the most part, so I'm trying to extend its life for another year or two. I only use my PC to watch movies, convert some blu-rays that I buy into mkv, browsing, social media, etc, so nothing that heavy. I've been out...

Multirotor, multicopter and quadcopter discussion - The Drone thread

Thanks for the input! Yes it is for a FPV acro quad. The reason I wanted the distance to home feature is cause I am still learning and I find sometimes i lose my bearing of where I am and end up going too far. Altitude is the same thing, I sometimes end up going too high. But I can get one...

Multirotor, multicopter and quadcopter discussion - The Drone thread

Hi, Want to get a tiny whoop for flying indoors and general practice everyday to get used to controls, so then for the weekends i use the big quad. Was looking at the Eachine E010S or the Eachine Aurora 90 or the KingKong 90GT. The last 2 seem to be very powerful so not sure if suited for...
