Just another update. I personally take a lot of my dribble as truth as its from hands on experience ;) Managed to get a v4 from ocuk, it allso loses feedback strength after about an hours racing time trials so its an issue with all the wheels i'd say and the guys that advised me that there...

    Exernal psu for fans

http://www.overclockers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=372297 As you can see in that post, if i'm attaching to the red and black that are next to each other then all my fans are running at 5v ?? Be greatfull of somebody clearing this up as it looks 5v to me lol. So i need yellow and black for...

    Exernal psu for fans

3rd pin down has no connector, it looks like its a a fake hole all the way to the bottom, it really does look like its suppossed to not have a connector there as it has a lip that mimicks the connectors. And as there is no connector there none of my fans will work from molex unless i...

    Exernal psu for fans

Hi, Thanks for input. So what will pins 1 and 2 give me as thats what i'm using now ? Using the red and black cables next to each other as the molex extensions that come with the fans has a 2 pin header coming off it for mobo i believe.

    Thrustmaster t 500 r issues

It would seem the wheels i recieved had poor cooling, the fan was working on them so it is just a case of a poor cooling design posibly as all the added fans make a huge impact in keeping the power at optimum levels with no loss in strength. I had a choice, return the new wheel , wait for...

    Exernal psu for fans

I have added fans to a steering wheel, 7 in total and have ordered this HDD-POWER-SUPPLY-AC-12V-5V-2A-FOR-HARD-DRIVE-MOLEX This looked great but sadly as it has a plastic part for pin 2 instead of a connection it just wont work for what i need, its small and light hence the reason i went for...

90mm-ish fans that do'nt bang when shaking

Hi, I got some fans and added them to a t500rs wheel, only issue is when the ffb motor kicks in with a shake the 2 fans make a terrible racket as they are bouncing up and down on there spindle. Fans are mounted upside down. It's not an issue when wearing 5.1 headset but still, i'd like a...

    Thrustmaster t 500 r issues

Update, It would seem the issues ive been having with weak ffb were due to poor cooling as i'd suspected. After over 2hours nonstop Hillclimb with 70% force feedback ffb was just as strong as as when i started !!! The air that the 3 fans remove is massive. The 2 airvents...

After about 6 hours racing with ffb in control panel at 70% the wheel is extremely weak and feels like its working via an elestic band lol I'm going to order 2x 92mm and 2x 60mm fans, will probly go for the expensive ones like Noctua unless somebody has any suggestions on qite fans with good...

One of the reason i never played, the other was it did'nt work with 3dvision or tridef properly. We had some fun, it does look ok but physics of game suck aswell as the feeling of input lag. The frifting killed the game for the night as it was pathetic, nearly impossible with a wheel so we...
