Sorry it has taken soooo long, been very busy recently.
I have added the new PSU and GPU and made a good start on the motherboard tray cover, still needs a bit of work though.
The new GPU is also water cooled.
Right, just a small update, pictures will follow later this week.
I managed to pick myself up a new GPU and power supply in the black friday deals that OCUK did.
So I now have a Sapphire Radeon R9 Nitro 390 8192MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card with Backplate and a Corsair AX1200i Digital...
Well, after a lot of searching around, it appears that the only difference between those two cards is the backplate on the 11244-01-20G. The full block should fit. Once I have received it I will update this thread for future reference.
I have found a full block made by Alphacool but it says that it is for the 11244-00-20G and the one that I have is the 11244-01-20G. Does that mean that it wont fit then?
If not I know that a universal block will fit but what about cooling the rest of the card?
Hi everyone, I was lucky enough to get one of the Sapphire R9 390 Nitro cards during the black friday event and wondered if there is any kind of watercooling block that fits it.
I have had a look but dont realy know what im looking for as I am a bit of a noob at this lol.
Any help will be...
I managed to get a Sapphire Radeon R9 Nitro 390 8192MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card with Backplate and a HX1200i 1200W '80 Plus Platinum' Digital Modular Power Supply.
Took a few attempts this morning though.
I will get the tubes shorter, but not untill the rest is done. I will redo the tubes when the new gpu goes in and I know where they can go.
In the mean time I need to get the motherboard tray cover done and the cover for the 5.25" bays.
I have an idea for the motherboard tray cover that I hope...
This was not easy although the principles of it are. The parts that i used are
11mm x 11mm x 2 meters 90 degree aluminium
0.5mm x 500mm x 500mm steel sheet
5mm x 500mm x 500mm clear frosted acrylic
6mm x 35mm x 35mm clear acrylic x 40 (few spare)
5050 led strip 5 meters
wifi led strip...
I will be doing that but not untill around April next year due to costs.
You cant see in the pics, but the light box can change to any colour as well. I will get a vid up at some point.
Well, I finally bit the bullet and went for it.

I cant comment on the Ryobi one, but I did have a cheap brand multi tool and after using it a few times the shaft became loose. It was impossible to do any fine detail work with it after that. I have had my Dremel for about 5 years now and it is still just as accurate as the first time I used it.
I did not know that. The plan was to use if first before it went under water to check everything was ok.
The cooler that you suggested is out of stock at the moment, are there any others that are about the same price?
Hi everyone
I still have the rig in my sig but feel that now is the time to upgrade.
I am tempted with the following but just want someone to check that I only need a cpu, mobo and ram.
Gigabyte X99-SLI - Intel Core i7 5820K Six Core CPU & Motherboard Bundle ***£50 Saving***
Kingston...
ok, what are the benefits of a managed switch over a non managed switch?
Unfortunatly I dont know loads about networking so I am just trying to muddle through. Would any of them be ok to attach a NAS box to and be able to access it from any point?
Thanks for this mate.
