my 5870 has 3 ports , 2 dvi and 1 hdmi. The hdmi and 1 dvi produce a blurry image, if i didnt have to RMA my titan goliath 4 times i would RMA it but i wanna play my system while i still have a vacation. bad times :(, guess i will allwas have to stick to the one monitor

i just bumped my vcore down to 1.20, will have to run prime95 tomorow see if it makes much of a difference , 4.00ghz would be nice for encoding gief!

i rma'd mines 4 times lol , it was a nightmare. finally i bought a corsair h50 and they refunded me the amoutn of an akasa nero . it now runs at 70 tops in prime95 with the corsair h50 . I think thats still above average of a corsair h50 in push pull tbh at 3.40 ghz but aslong as it doesnt go...

i wasnt aware you could tell it how many cores to use, do you mean in the program itself? i checked in processes and all 8 cores are ticked

Is there any way to make this program make use of all my threads? currently its only using 40% of core 1 70% of core 3 45% of core 6 50% of core 7 core 2,4,5 and 8 are all at 0% i guess if it could use 100% in all cores it would take like 2 minutes or something , is this...

Whats the fastest program out there that will convert my avi files to dvd? also whats the best program to burn the dvd files with? I dont wanna use nero as a lot of junk comes with it and this is just a fresh install thanks

yea i done that to remove the black border , it works fine with this current hdmi> dvi but if i try it with a proper hdmi cable ( i bought 2 new ones and same on both) and the 2nd dvi port with this very same hdmi to dvi its blurry
