Yes, until the fans get up to speed, it will sound an alarm saying the fans are not fast enough. But it shouldnt take 10sec to start the fans up unless they only kick in as the cpu/heatsink heat up.

I will be changing from a AMD Athlon 64 x2 Dual Core 6000+ (3.00MHz) AM2, TO: AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition? Will this be a problem?

Will i have to re-install Windows when i put a new CPU in?

Or that. Get some copper stuff (cant remember the name). They sell it in car part shops, its normally used for repairs broken heater lines in the rear window of your car.

No worries anymore. Flashed it! My first ever bios flash and it worked. Just nervous as if it fails or have power-cut in the middle, thats it. Bye bye mobo. Although i have a back-up bios chip on my mobo.

Ok then. Thank you. Its a .exe, but it wont let me run it because im running x64. Can i just run it in compatablity mode? Cheers. EDIT: Ive just found @BIOS download. Whats this? And it says its works on Win 7 x64 which is what i have.

Basicly, i need version: FB for my new 955. Can i just flash it to the latest update (FDB) and it will still work, or do i have to flash it to FB which is what the processor needs? Also, do i need to flash it before i put my new CPU in? And will my athlon 6000+ processor still work if i do flash...

Ok, titan i think it is as the AC Freezer Xtreme has quite a bad review on one site that where it sits on the CPU is too small.
