Taken my N2 to Latvia. Embarrassingly fast data, so much so my missus is using it as wifi hotspot. Still fine it intuitive, seamless experience and a precision feel to pretty much all of the apps. Am even used to the size now

You can keep waiting for the next new phone forever tbh. The new nexii in a month, nokia lumia just a bit later, then Apple will add some revolutionary new features to the 5 like iSpleen which will allow you to sell internal organs to keep up with buying the latest 'i' device. The DHD is a...

I use Office Suite Pro. It cost a tenner but will do proper MS office files, xlsx, docx and powerpoint. Bought it 12 months back for my tab and it is superb on the note.

Wel, I have had it overnight and can safely say I sm well impressed. It doesnt feel too big and with my man hands feels about right, certainly more comfortable than anything like a 7in tablet etc. Have yet to have it lag at anything, or throw a crash in - which is just great. I do miss the htc...

So, any thoughts on pocket size (nuts can be fiddled from the other pocket surely?) Am stuck on a Desire S with no free memory, can upgrade with voda AND get 20% off through work staff perks but it needs to be direct with them. Arrgghhh, so frustrating!

Ooh, first post for a while... Right, I had a play with on in p4u yesterday. It is titanic and the s3 seemed more sensible size-wise. That's the head. The heart says 'you make few calls and use lots of internets, get the tabletphone'. The considerations are price - the s3 is cheap, pocket...

    Advent Vega

Bought a Vega today, some scratches on the back for 160 new-. 30 mins later it's running vegacomb 3.2 build 8.1 and is outstanding vfm. Well worth the pennies

    Touchpad Alternative....

Advent Vega, 30 mins of work and a decent size micro SD card. Even I managed the upgrade to android 3.2 build 8.1 which runs everything

Had to buy a new car...

Styling-wise and the fact there are as many boggo 3-series running around, I'd rather have something different. I would prefer RW but the car goes over roads that close every year for snow. And the missus struggles with it. A Good enough 3 series would be c.£3k, and I don't want to spend...

Had to buy a new car...

^ funny you should say that, the 320d was on the list. But for the pennies was as big a risk with less performance and much more bland. A red Alfa looks good. In balance with the yellow AA van. Had to leave the RAC as colours clashed..

Had to buy a new car...

Common misunderstanding. The excitement comes not from the fire-snorting engine, but from the tingle you get from turning the key and seeing if everything still works (or from the electricity leaking from the starter circuits...)

Had to buy a new car...

The fluid change and flush were done by the previous owner who was fairly anal on stuff like that - he even kept the receipts for the fluid. Had all the comments that I will die a fiery death, surrounded by a broken Alfa but hey, you only live once!
