    EKWB in trouble?

What's been happening with ek has been pretty nuts so but considering how much they charge for water blocks now as mentioned by GN. I was actually planning on using ek blocks But when I saw the prices of current blocks I think I'll be sticking to what I have for now.. I remember the days when...

    The AMD Driver Thread

Has anyone experienced strange temperature readings since the new drivers? I installed them this morning and have just noticed that my gb temperature seems to be sitting around 70oc When just doing normal day to day desktop stuff and browsing etc. The strange thing is, When I run a game which...

Is everyone's PC (near) silent at idle?

I wouldn't say silent but more like a rather soothing hum.

Can I get scammed from a FB buyer?

I can definitely confirm that a lot of the FB marketplace stuff is really suspect. I'd definitely suggest not buying anything of high value on there. A friend of mine bought some high end cycling parts, Only to have the police turn up at his door a couple of days later saying that he'd handled...

New passive CM PSU looks nuts!

I think it's safe to say that it's earlier adoption tax right? What @Mr Evil mentioned about coil wine is something that we'll have to keep an eye on as well. But it would be nice to see this kind of tech really take off and become affordable someday if it turns out to be really good.

New passive CM PSU looks nuts!

Just watched this video from CES And this looks amazing! https://youtu.be/vvTXg-2RJLk Can't wait to see it get reviewed and to see if it's efficient And performs as well as they say it does. Does anybody else have experience with coolermaster psu's?

    Gigabyte AORUS FO32U2P Flat QD-OLED: 32" 4K 240Hz with DisplayPort 2.1, KVM

Just watched a video on this and it's looking very much like a display i'd love to get my hands on. Although at 4K I'm maybe tempted at going a bit higher in terms of size I guess it all depends on the price I guess.

Amazon Prime sucks massive donkey balls

I always saw the prime video as a nice little bonus rather than a primary reason to sign up for Amazon Prime. The delivery benefits and various sales and discounts you get are far more valuable to me and more than make up for the subscription price, But I definitely won't be paying an extra fee...

    What's your CPU upgrade cycle?

I'm hoping that AMD continue the trend with supporting multiple generations of CPU on a single platform as they have over the past few years it really adds a whole new value aspect to going with them especially considering how good their performance is generally speaking.

    What's your CPU upgrade cycle?

Agreed, which is why I admire what AMD have done with AM4 and 5 in terms of their upgrade road map where you just need to drop in a new CPU if you want a nice performance jump which could even be generational. X99 5820K was my last CPU before moving to my current setup and it was a really nice...

    What's your CPU upgrade cycle?

Lol the days before hardware T&L!! I think the first PC I ever built for myself was with a Celeron 300A... Now, that was a cracking CPU!!

    What's your CPU upgrade cycle?

Yeah it seems to be as long as you go for at least a mid-tier CPU, they tend to last and perform very well for the most part. I'll probably upgrade when the last iteration of AM5 is released and then upgrade again when the last iteration of AM6 or whatever Intel has at the time. It is...

    What's your CPU upgrade cycle?

In my younger days I used to always want the latest and greatest as long as I could afford it but. But these days I'm tending to stick with my cpu hardware for longer and so do a lot of people that I know. With amd making this much easier to do given the easier upgrade path available with...

    Asus ROG PG32UCDM - 4k OLED 240hz

I'm wondering how much better OLED gen 2 will be in the long run for monitors. I've been really wanting to get an OLED monitor for a while but it would suck if you end up having to replace it after only two years of use, especially at the current prices even though they are coming down apparently.

How do you game? Upscaling or native? (updated poll choices - 24/12, revote!)

Native all the way, especially at 1440p. I think I'd only consider using FSR/DLSS if I were at 4k.
