Hi there, thanks i filed in my pcs data into that link and it says the lowest psu i can get away with is 528 and better would be 590, so is there any point in upgrading ? would i notice any benefit at all ?

nah the laptop was mostly used on the battery tbh thats why i couldnt understand the drop in time and also the suddenness of it all one day 6 hours the next 2 ?, turned out to be a driver issue with the gfx card not going into power saver mode

yep have cleaned out all the insides, the lot is running a lot hotter than it used to any reasons why or how to get around this and yes its 8 months old if it isint sorted by monday ill give them a call just its a real pita to get it sent away etc
