The sample rate being set too high sometimes cuases problems in certain games too i found, prototype for example would have insane speeded up sound if i had the sample rate set at over 44.1khz.

If you can hit 3.1ghz at the moment id try 3.2ghz (400x8) which allso means your ram will sit nice at 800mhz if you select the correct mem divider. As far as ram settings go all left stock will be fine if it runs at the moment stable at 830mhz.

Be carefull removing/refitting that freezer7 m8 as the plastic retaining pegs start to wear each time and you dont get the same clamping pressure. To me it seams like you either have a bad freezer 7 ie it isnt applying enough pressure when fitted or somin aint right with the temp monitoring...
