Currently running a mag b550 with a 5700G I bought a Samsung 990pro NVME but it is not running in PCIe gen 4 only gen 3, do I have to change a setting in the bios to get gen 4 to work? Thanks

I bought a SanDisk Extreme 4TB Portable NVMe SSD and i was wondering if it would be possible to open it up and remove the nvme and put it in my second m.2 slot on my motherboard (MAG B550 TOMAHAWK). I don't want to damage it in any way as i am sure this will void any warranty.

It is an APU, wanting to get a discrete GPU but refuse to pay the prices being asked, so I have been considering getting the 5700G APU for now until prices return to something sane.
