Been playing fallout 4 vr for the first time, never played any of them but loved the series. Heavily modded and my network is failing under the pressure of streaming to the quest 3 and any other network traffic, so have ordered a new router which should hopefully resolve the issue

Both 1.9tdi, the passat had electrical problems mainly but also speed sensor issue (whole hub needs to be replaced) and snapped spring. Also didn't like the cabin, biggest issue what the door card was so high up the door it wasn't comfortable to rest the elbow on either the top of the door card...

Ordered a flint 2, is there a decent guide anywhere in how to set it up on a open wrt snapshot or is it pretty standard and am I right in thinking I can run it alongside the OEM version and just swap between?

Excellent news, just they are almost identical. May still keep it for playing in the conservatory but does sound like this will be great for the quest. We are all in on android anyway so should be fine if I choose to use the 2.4

How is the 5ghz signal, would be turning the 2.4 off anyway as using the unifi ap but the 5ghz I'd use solely for the quest 3 connection

The flint 2 does look just as good as the Asus and a much better price especially if you buy it direct. Not sure where I got the 500gb ram from then so that makes it even better. Are there any concerns over GL-inet being a Chinese vendor?

Looking for a new router as the Vodafone issued one is garbage and has a habit of freezing. Currently have 500Mbps connection, a uniform AC pro for wifi and connect a honor 3 wifi6 router just to connect the quest 3 to the pc. I previously had a usg gateway but didn't like the parental controls...

I've got the same card and it's starting to struggle on the vr front. Looks like there should be some new cards out later this year, if you can hold off then should be some good cards coming from AMD for a good price, something that can keep up with a 4080 for £500ish

No I hadn't changed it, and I'm running an honor 3 with wifi6 just for the quest

You wait till you try wireless on v28 then, you can manually update if you can't wait and it's very easy to do

If you think it looks better than VD, try the latest beta version of VD

Also have it, although I can't get audio working but that be due to HTC headphones and seems to suffer a big stutter on both the GPU and CPU at the same time every so often although it's maxing out at 90fps. I found the vd beta release better with no stutter and reduced lag also hitting 100+ FPS
