I always used to play around with Suse, RHEL, Ubuntu, etc but I only truly got my head around linux when I went for Archlinux and I have never looked back. Ubuntu is a great system but a nightmare to learn linux on as it does exactly sweet FA the way it should do.
That's a terrible design choice, the number one reason to visit IMDB for me and my friends is to quickly find the names of people in movies, not to have photo's or videos (in there terrible player) pushed onto us first. I'd already had enough of the site since they moved all in production...
One of my friends had a problem with their old PS3 80Gb not loading games properly and the drive being generally slow so he brought it round for me to have a look, took it apart and while being massively impressed with the quality of the hardware inside managed to fix it and then play the thing...
The only thing that was keeping me away from Chrome was the below par adblock extensions, but that has now been sorted so Firefox has kissed the dirt at last.
Sony have actually products & games ready now and they work well, Microsoft have an idea and a ridiculous price point and even the demo's they have shown off don't work or are fake.
