I've just watched that and he doesn't have an answer. He throws around a lot of blame for why we got to this point - which I'm not at all sure I agree with, but that's another issue - but what he basically doesn't want to say seems to be "yes, Russia should win".

That's all I did when I swapped the other half's Inno3d 3060ti for first the MSI 4070 Ventus (horrible coil whine) and then the Asus 4070 Dual. Worked fine. I haven't used a 4070 FE but the Asus is very quiet, even using the normal BIOS. There's also a quiet BIOS option if you need it even quieter.

I second that, my other half has the Asus Dual in her PC, I'm very impressed with how quiet it is.

I'm trying to decide between a 4070 and a 7900XT myself. For your budget, if you want to buy a card now, then the 4070 IMO. But it is a shame it doesn't have 16GB.

I do, but it's the MSI 6600XT Gaming X, much lower power and a really quiet cooler. Before than I had the PowerColor Red Devil Vega 64, fans weren't noisy but that card had horrendous coil whine.
