Cisco 3560 Switch using Arris Modem/Router Combo

It's plug and play for your needs. If you want to learn how to use it properly, the 3560's have a lot of protocols on them you can play with, especially if it's an X series. I would assume you are on IOS 12.something, so a config guide like this one would be a good place to start if you want...

AMD THREADRIPPER 3990X NOW IN STOCK & AVAILABLE!!

I'd imagine that even when overclocked, the CPU power consumption must still be significantly lower than an Intel 9200 56 core CPU. In the market for a CPU like this next year for my homelab, hopefully they can keep pushing the envelope with the next generation too when 7nm euv is in production.

Lisa Su Considers A Role Beyond AMD And Prepares A Successor

Slightly more on topic: http://ir.amd.com/node/29476/html I really doubt she will be leaving anytime soon after a potential $25million bonus is on the table for her :D

*** The New Cases Gallery ***

Not a fan of watercooling myself due to maintenance, so I stick to big air coolers. Needs some cable management but otherwise pretty happy with it. First PC I've made in years.

    ROG CROSSHAIR VI HERO

Bought one of these new for £120 for a Ryzen 3000 build, hoping the saving on the motherboard will be worth it to afford a better CPU.

    Another AM4 upgrade thread

Greetings. I'm planning on buying a Ryzen 2600 CPU to last me for a few months, then upgrading to a 3950X when they are released. I've got some G. Skill DDR4 3600mhz CL memory already and don't know what motherboard to buy. I won't benefit much from PCIE 4 so I was thinking X370 / X470...

    Sony Vegas Multiple Cores?

Hello I've got an old dual Xeon x5650 system arriving soon that I plan to use as my rendering slave for Sony Vegas. What I want to know is if it's possible to utilise all the 12 cores of the two CPUs in Sony Vegas when rendering. At the moment I've been using the Mainconcept AVC/AAC format...

    The CCNA/Cisco Certifications Thread

It'll do the job pretty well. There will be a couple of things in the curriculum that you won't be able to cover but the main stuff will work just fine. :)

    Asus P8P67 - Ivybridge Support?

Hi guys. Could you confirm whether this motherboard would support a 3570/3770/3570k/3770k? I believe the pro/deluxe versions do but I have the basic version and I'm not entirely sure. Also if it does support either of the k CPU's would it also support overclocking? Apologies for the...

    The CCNA/Cisco Certifications Thread

Hey guys. Has anybody tried a 1801 router using adsl in their home? I've been considering buying one since they're so cheap but I'm not sure how well Cisco kit plays with consumer ISPs. Has anybody tried it and seen any performance increases or decreases on the butWAN link? For lan access I...

    The CCNA/Cisco Certifications Thread

I would assume so. I haven't taken the new CCENT and I'm not familiar with the scope of it. I think it'll be fine, probably overkill. If need be you could always add in another router or PC though? It's not like it's difficult with GNS3. :)

    The CCNA/Cisco Certifications Thread

If Cisco are offering it for certification purposes then they'd have to create some less resource intensive stuff. Perhaps it'll be a cloud-based thing where you just connect to the devices via a web browser/terminal emulator. For now Will Gill I'd just try GNS3.
