A lot of people are greedy too. See it a fair few times in a few groups I'm in.
The seller (scammer) is selling something that's obviously too cheap. Like 1/2 Rrp.
And some twonk buys it.
I have sympathy for the vulnerable. But not the greedy.
I'm on spusu
Its EE
1 pound a month for 3 months
Then 4.50 thereafter.
5gb data
So cheap it feels wrong!
Literally cheaper than a Costa Coffee
Oh yeah.. I got 15 pounds for cashback too.
That's just criminal.
Basically pretty much 6 months use for free.
Its possible it'll pay out a 30 pound...
That's how I knew immediately.
They asked where it is even though it tells you.
Once I said "cash only" they haven't replied unfortunately.
And yes. Also they didn't barter. It's overpriced on there on purpose to bait scammers. Same as I do on ebay.
My main motivation is social/seeing new stuff. So rarely go to same place 3 times in a row. But sometimes I drive over an hour.
If I was still living in Lincolnshire I probably wouldn't go
OP literally asked for suggestions for kit.
And that they were planning to take it up as a hobbies.
No ones suggesting you buy 2k worth of stuff to be able to walk.
Its taken me a long time to decide on what to buy and how to pack etc, sending stuff back.

Not asking "is this a scam". Just interested in the scam.
Person messages me asking about expensive item.
They ask where it is (this is listed on item.)
They have a lads profile pic but end messages with an X
Even after this.. I'm like.. Yeah I know this is a scam.
They offer to pay by BT...
Yeah but he was saying he's looking to get into it.
Footwear and is priority 1 for me as a starter.
Unfortunately my feet would be wrecked if I walked 8 miles in bad footwear
I like to call them trainer boots. Because when people say "walking boots" most think of the traditional rock solid "you have to break them in" heavy, protective, rigid ones.
Bought some meta on the dive.
Got some are 410.
Didnt really understand the drop. Felt like classic drop after results for no good reason then bounce back.
