thanks i really dont want to goto the extra expense of a SSD but i have seen on another thread that there is advantages of having 1 HDD for the o/s and another for other stuff. is there any benefits to doing this?

i've just done a check on my pc's performance with the windows7 performance monitor and it says most of my scores are above 7.5 apart from data transfer rate which is 5.5. my question is, is there any way of improving on this figure to bring it inline with the others i.e above 7.5. ive done...

i mainly want it for use with the blueray player i have with it . might have a bit of a problem sorting out how to connect the surround sound speaker system as the sound card has individual inputs for each speaker and the surround system has individal inputs as well.
