it looks like its on but it wont display anything. i can drag windows half over it and they stay there so my pc thinks its working ok but its not :( dont want to have to return but i will have to i think.
just received my msi gtx 970 a few days ago and im really pleased with it - no coil whine and a massive upgrade from my gtx 460  yes i waited that long...
anyway today i thought i would hook up an old monitor and im having some troubles.
my main monitor is using the dvi-i just fine. i...
1 - 2x gtx460's in sli.
2 - be a great (and much tidier) upgrade from my current OCZ 650w psu giving me more upgrade options. helps that they look awesome too!
i have had both types. i have never had any problems with either.
what would i buy if mine broke? if i coud afford it official - simply cos i like the idea of official throughout.
quality and functionality is identical imo
i tried black rapid and couldnt get on with it. my optech pro clips on and off like the dimarzio linked earlier and is more of a traditional strap than a black rapid
i really like it. if i had any criticism it would be the airplane/jet trail in the sky. it catches my attention too much. not much you could do about that outside of PP though.
it draws you in and there is a real sense of depth and distance. what a wonderful scene
i have just picked up one of THESE and im very impressed with it. its the peli-storm equivalent of a peli1510.
its holds 2 gripped bodies, a 24-70, a 70-200, nifty fifty (cant be without that!) and various speedlights and accessories. i could fit more in using seperators but im using pluck...
ouch! i cant make my mind up about foam or dividers yet. think i will give the foam a try.
i only got mine as it was reasonbly priced secondhand. i dont think i could stomach £275.
the way i think of it, im holding 3-4k of camera gear - surely it is logical to hold it as safely as possible...
i have just picked up one of THESE second hand as a christmas pressy to myself :P
im fed up of my 5d/5d2 + lenses being kept loosh(ish) in my lowepro bag and thought it was about time to get something a bit sturdier - especially with my enquisitive 2 year old whos into everything at the moment...
depending what camera you use, speedlights have ample power for lightboxes. yn460/560 are dirt cheap
constant lights would eb fine too, a couple of lamps from a diy store for example. the only drawback with them being the only power adjustment you have is with distance
i made mine with wordpress: http://carringtonphotography.net
it was really easy using a purchased template from themeforest
domain and hosting was from vidahost
