First home, what washing machine to buy?

Recently in the same situation myself, needed a new washing machine for 2 adults, we went with a Hisense 10kg machine, direct drive, loads of options very quiet machine. Went with the larger drum size as we both work full time so tend to do a big wash on the weekend.
