Sell the 3070 on the MM

I clicked through and was able to cart a 3090, but wanted the TI really.. I should have waited for the TI alert, by the time I saw that they had gone. I didn't purchase so there will be another 3090 in the pot whenever it times out.

Just get the FE, guaranteed block compatibility that way. Or wait for pre-fitted and decide.

I gave up following this a while back. Is the 3090 for sure the *80ti for this gen? 10 > 24GB is quite a big gap.

We're going wildly OT but anyway ... that sort of thinking will be the undoing of them in the long term. It's just complacency.

Yeah I'm really tempted by these.

I'm enjoying it so far but some of the maps are dreadful, as said. Given there aren't many to choose from I can see how players are getting bored/frustrated already. 'Luckily' I don't have time to throw 50+ hours into this already.

If true that would be enough performance for me to jump I reckon. I need a new base system too at this stage though!

Not unless RT is picked up extensively in this generation of games. 1080ti is 95% of what I need, and having not seen any benches it is impossible to gauge the value.

Latest version is much better, consistent FPS. Playing in full window rather than borderless makes a huge difference for me, for some reason.

Similar, shadows is the major one to dial back. Never get locked 60 though no matter what I switch.. usually in the 50s.
