The same thing just happened to me. I restarted and the SSD was back. Does this mean that the firmware was not applied correctly ? Do I require to re-flash as a secondary drive? SSDUpdate is showing that it is infact new firmware 1.23 ... does this men it installed ok?

Why are you shelling out £300+ for the LE, when the Sandforce drives and Vertex 2 Pro are just around the corner ?

I hope so too but the future looks bleak. Problem is everyone on this thread has gone a bit over-board and racing for the drive, which, as mentioned above, isn't what people may think it is - that is the 128GB.

How do you know this ? I know very little have RVd the 128GB but if you look at crucial's older drives the M225 there was little between the two high-end ones, i don't know of any data but I do know that there wasnt many complaints on the Crucial SSD forums?

I see that - I was tempted to go for it but another site has the drive for around £60 less. That is a good save if one can wait a week no ?
